With our delicatessen you travel in three courses all over EuropeOur culinary delicacy trip through Europe begins with the starter: A fresh salad refined with our fruity truffle balsamic vinegar from Piedmont and our extra virgin olive oil. Made from traditionally harvested olives from the olive groves of Calabria. If you want it to be even more extravagant here, you can also enjoy as a starter of our in-house DARIO'S CAVIAR SELECTION BY PRUNIER from France together with fresh baguette coated with butter. Our caviar is made from young Acipenser Baerii sturgeons. It is characterized by a fine texture and soft, small, amber-colored grains. Of course, a small glass of our in-house DARIO'S Blanc De Blancs Champagne Vintage 2008 from the limestone-containing vineyards in Barbonne Fayel in northern France should not be missing.
Delicatessen with the magic of truffles
For the main course, our delicatessen trip goes to Italy. We recommend CASALE PARADISO Risotto al tartufo. This delicacy is light and tasty and also quick and easy to prepare: you need to steam our risotto mixture in a saucepan with a little olive oil. Our in-house olive oil is ideal for this. Then stir in the risotto rice with a vegetable broth and keep simmering until the rice is creamy and al dente. Sprinkle with parmesan. Finally, you can refine and serve it with our white truffle oil from Piedmont. Our dry white wine cuvée goes perfectly with a hint of lemongrass, lime and ripe honeydew melon from the Korrell winery in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Course 3 of our delicatessen trip takes us via Vienna to Belgium
For dessert, our delicatessen trip takes us to Austria and brings the flair of the Viennese nobility to your home. With the Imperial Torte. This exquisite delicacy has been handcrafted in the Hotel Imperial Vienna since 1873. Since then it has been an integral part of the tradition and culture of the Austrian capital. For the preparation, cocoa cream is whipped open and filled in layers with delicate almond leaves. Finally, a fine chocolate glaze is prepared over the finest marzipan.
Alternatively, you can enjoy our in-house Belgian cupcake chocolates as a dessert. These consist of nine different variants. The special thing about it: In each of these chocolates there is a wonderfully delicate cream filling, which together with a delicious topping in a cheeky spray look combine on your palate in a true taste explosion.
